A cooperation protocol including data and knowledge sharing was signed between Ege University and Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock. As to the protocol, Ege University Faculty of Agriculture will provide a platform where scientific databases are shared and the trainings are coordinated and given between two institutions in accordance with the needs of the Ministry.

Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Ph.D. Ahmet Eşref Fakıbaba stated that “Our Johnny Turks have been fighting in Afrin for our motherland. We are in a hard struggle to carry our country into to the future. Our greatest assurance is our universities and academicians.” Minister Fakıbaba thanked Ege University Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Budak for the good work he has done within a short time.
