Ege University Ranks 3rd Place in Academic Incentives among Public Universities

Ege University ranked 3rd place according to PUR (Public University Ranking) in academic incentives.

The 2015 performance of academicians on the academic incentive were analyzed on the PUR report criterias of which were defined by YÖK.

In the rank list prepared by combining YÖK faculty members’ datas and universities’ academic support commission points, academicians’ activities are evaluated on 9 categories. These are: projects, researches and academic publications, designs, exhibitions,  patents, references, international advices and received awards. By the evaluation of these characters,  Abdullah Gül University ranks 1st, Istanbul Medeniyet University ranks 2nd and Ege University ranks 3rd as the best public university.
In accordance to the Academic Support Regulations codes, related to the activities of 2015, faculty members who were given the right to benefit from the support scholarship were 1225.  In Ege University the number of faculty members who achieved a point of 90, are 58, the number of faculty members who achieved a point above 95 are 28.  In Turkey, 16 of 95 faculty members in Turkey who recieved a 100 full points are from Ege University. In the PUR ranking, Ege University came 1st place among universities’ engineering faculty in Turkey,  Public University’s dentistry ranking, Ege University came 2nd place and in Science Faculties 6th place, School of Nursing came 7th, in Faculty of Literature Ege University came 8th place.
